Acupuncture and Shiatsu

For many of us, long hours of straining our back, neck and eyes have become a daily routine.
Continuous stress will eventually generate symptoms, and those can become chronic if unattended.
What conventional medicine offers as treatment will often address merely the symptoms, and even when the physiological origin of the problem is detected, the capacity to address it without negative side effects is often disappointing and frustrating.
Acupuncture and Shiatsu, based on ancient knowledge and a Holistic approach, view and address the human body/mind as one entity.
These ancient techniques for healing rely on and utilize the body's natural capacity to return into balance with relative ease, and often without the use of drugs, with "side effects" that are mostly positive.
In addition to their success in relieving a variety of symptoms, both methods help to restore a sense of physical and mental calm, with the additional element of human touch, which is a rarity in western medical treatments.

About me

Since childhood, I was aware of my need to be a source of help to living creatures. As a way to fulfill that calling, life naturally directed me to the healing professions. 
My 8 years of education in the USA include Shiatsu, B.A. from Lesley College, M.A. in Acupuncture, specializing in Japanese Acupuncture (known worldwide as "Kiiko Style" Acupuncture.)
I had the honor of being an assistant to Kiiko Matsumoto at her Newton clinic for 10 years. Being exposed to Kiiko’s clinical work and her generous explanations became the foundation for my own clinical practice in the years to come. 
I have practiced Shiatsu for the past 26 years, and Acupuncture for 17 years and I absolutely love it!
Upon my return to Israel (2009) I reestablished my private practice in Jaffa. 
In 2012 I founded, in collaboration with Yoav Shahar, the Community Acupuncture clinic at Studio Naim in Florentine. The clinic provides basic affordable acupuncture treatments in a group setting. The clinic is known to be a source of ongoing support for the Naim community (members, workers, teachers) and beyond. The clinic welcomes everyone to experience the simple wonders of acupuncture at an attractive price and in a pleasant atmosphere.
